Meanwhile, there's so much new evidence coming in that the committee's had to put some hearings on hold.
Along about noon on Wednesday, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the chairman of the House Select Committee investigating the events of January 6, 2021, threw the entire upcoming schedule into the MixMaster. After Thursday's hearing, which will be devoted to the pressure placed on the Department of Justice by the minions of Camp Runamuck, the committee then will not have another public hearing until after the upcoming recess which ends on July 12. Obviously, a timeout at this point is a real momentum killer. Plus, any delay pushes the committee closer to the fall deadline by which it is supposed to present its final report. However, according to Thompson, the hiatus can't be helped. There's just too damn much evidence rolling in. |

Here, in his own words, he talks about his childhood, his career, his transition, and his life, though not necessarily in that order. |
