Don't sleep when it comes to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the two holiest of holidays in the world of commerce. Set your alarm, several if need be, because we all know that's it the early birds that get the sweetest deals on clothes, accessories, tech, what have you. You may be thinking that it's way too premature for all this talk. You probably haven't even figured where you're going for Thanksgiving, let alone what to buy for the day after, or the Monday after that long weekend. But, as any lawyer, boy scout, or mechanic will tell you, it's worth being prepared. It's practicing due diligence that separates the winners from losers, those birds that get their pick of juicy worms in the morning from and those that have to settle for the remnants. And we here are all winners, baby. You'll knock it out of the park with these ideas—a top candidate for all-time best partner of the century. There's some seriously cool stuff in there, and the discounts go up to 60 percent off. Sweat buckets on the treadmill, do laps in the pool, stand out in a rainstorm. Anything goes. Jeans aren't just a last resort for when your sweatpants are dirty—they're a way of life. Wearing a great pair of loafers with everything from cropped, wide-leg chinos to classic suit pants to sweatpants may feel like one of the fresher flexes permeating menswear right now, but for Chris Echevarria, it's a move that stretches back to childhood. "I was raised by my great-grandmother and my mom, and one of the things that I was required to do was go to church every weekend," the designer of Brooklyn-based brand Blackstock & Weber explains. "The uniform for church was a pair of khakis, white shirt, penny loafers. And the loafers—and everything in that outfit—have never left my wardrobe. So I've always been wearing these loafers in very interesting ways."
