Political thrillers aren't particularly known for setting fashion trends, but The Three Days of Condor is the exception. In the film, Robert Redford plays Joe Turner, a nondescript CIA analyst (a pencil pusher, really) who gets ushered into corrupt government coverups. He's an average joe, and his choice in outerwear, a peacoat, reflected that at the time. In the event you want to get the most Hollywood look around, check out the options below—all of which will make you a leading man and definitely not an average joe. |

I'm so tired of products. Imagine whatever work fatigue y'all get: You don't want to think about spreadsheets; you don't want to think about Javascript; you don't want to think about financial portfolios. That's what I get for products. How horrible is that? So, when there's products I really love, I'll scream about them from the mountaintops. I award them in our big award stories like the Home Awards, Gaming Awards, and Gadget Awards, but that's not enough. I need to evangelize. It's so rare that I find products I love these these days, so when I do, I'll tell anyone about them. Thankfully, my job—which made me this way in the first place—gives me a healthy place to unload all this knowledge. Instead of cornering friends at parties and telling them they should buy this new LED facemask I own, I can tell you, strangers on the internet. That's what's happening here. These are the 11 products I tested over the past year that are now part of my daily life. These are the coolest, most useful, and my favorite things of the year. You know, the shit I'd actually recommend spending your money on. |
