Trump's Lackeys Spent a Second-Straight Weekend Defending His Racist Tweets

Last weekend, the president's lackeys spent Sunday on the television defending his racist tweets. This past weekend, the president's lackeys spent Sunday on the television defending his racist tweets. In fairness, they were different tweets each time: a week ago, it was Donald Trump's call for four congresswomen of color to go back to the countries they came from. This time, it was an attack on Congressman Elijah Cummings, who represents parts of Baltimore, a majority-black city the President of the United States called a " disgusting, rat- and rodent-infested mess" where " no human being would want to live." The implication, of course, is that it's a place for vermin, not for people, which has the obvious effect of dehumanizing the people who very much do live there. It's racism. Read More

Here's How to Get Brad Pitt's Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood Champion Logo Tee

It's not easy to pin down the most enviable look from Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood. The movie, set in 1969, is full of great outfits that run the gamut from denim-and-leather getups to some particularly sharp tailored offerings. It was a transitional moment for menswear, with the conservatism of the earlier years of the decade giving way to the more out-there fashion we all tend to think of when we think of '60s style. In other words: there was a whole lot going on, both in real life and in Tarantino's movie. Read More

A New Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Leak Appears to Confirm Rey's Origins

The first two entries in the new Star Wars trilogy have teased fans with tiny bits of information about Rey's mysterious past. Then in The Last Jedi, Kylo Ren tells Rey of her parents, "they were filthy junk traders who sold you off for drinking money ... dead in a pauper's grave in the Jakku desert." Read More

The Wire's David Simon Defended Baltimore From Donald Trump's Racist Tweet

In a series of weekend Twitter attacks, President Trump slammed yet another non-white congress member and yet another black community, calling Rep. Elijah Cummings a "brutal bully" and his Baltimore district a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess" where "no human being would want to live." But Baltimoreans rose to Charm City's defense, from The Baltimore Sun's incredible op-ed to remarks from Mayor Jack Young. And among the city's most voluble defenders was David Simon, the creator of The Wire, who's been going off on those would disparage his hometown since Saturday and, as of Monday morning, shows no signs of letting up. Here's the True Story Behind Lena Dunham's Unnerving Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Character

In Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, a fictionalized version of Charles Manson and his followers play a supporting role to the story of two fictional characters (Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt) in the entertainment industry. Quentin Tarantino took a lot of liberties with the story of the so-called Manson Family, some of whom ultimately carried out the murders of actress Sharon Tate and four others the night of August 8, 1969. But many of the characters in the movie are based on real people. Read More

The Theragun G3Pro Will Obliterate Your Muscle Knots and Lower Back Pain

Getting old sucks. Working out sucks. Working out while you're getting old sucks. And yet! And yet, it's so good for you that we (try to) do it anyway. But tight muscles, rows of knots, and overall discomfort all the time don't exactly make for a relaxing life. Aging, working out, and simply living—bad posture, uncomfortable sleep positions, desk work—all perpetuate the problem. And yes, foam rolling and professional massages are some tried-and-true ways of mitigating it. But foam rolling isn't always targeted, and massages are expensive. Read More
