Brad Pitt's 20 Best Performances, Ranked

Between Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Ad Astra, Brad Pitt is having a hell of a 2019. You could call it a Bradissance or you could just call it Brad Pitt being Brad Pitt. Looking back at the last three decades of movies, even Pitt's misses are still watchable just because you're seeing this extremely charming and attractive man on screen. But, given that he's cutting back on acting, we're entering a terrifying new era with a lot less Pitt in the movies. That just means to get our full fill of this beautiful guy, we're going to have to go back and re-watch his best roles. And, to be honest, who doesn't want to do that? Read More

Star Wars Fans Found An Unused Script That Could Explain the Truth About Rey's Lineage in Rise of Skywalker

Before the Disney era, there were rumors every other day about new Star Wars projects. George Lucas reportedly shut down a computer-animated comedy show called Star Wars Detours, there was a third Star Wars Battlefront title that never saw the light of day, and of course, there were the ever-elusive rumblings about a Star Wars live-action television series. Lucas's vision for the TV show, which was known as Star Wars Underworld, was a dark, seedy take on the underbelly of the galaxy far, far away, set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Recently, Redditors over on the Star Wars Speculation subreddit unearthed some stories about the aborted series, including a very titillating Emperor Palpatine plotline that may be useful in understanding how the resurrected Big Bad will function in the world of the upcoming Rise of Skywalker finale. Rudy Giuliani Is Trump's Crazed Rodeo Clown, But He Knows What He's Doing

By now, we ought to recognize the playbook at work: Donald Trump, American president, and his many honorable associates will yell that a potentially damaging story is FAKE NEWS! Then, investigators in Congress or at our country's premier newspapers will continue digging up evidence indicating that it is, in fact, true. And then, just as the investigation nears a breakthrough, when it will be revealed that the president has committed perhaps yet another impeachable offense and lied relentlessly about it, they send out the Rude Boi. This is Who Will Win (and Who Should Win) at the 2019 Emmys

The Emmys are television's fanciest night. Not quite as formal as the Academy Awards, but no where near as messy as the Golden Globes, the Television Academy comes together once a year at the very beginning of fall to honor the best of television from the past year. In this year's crop of nominees, there's an incredible diversity of stories and stars represented (with a very good chance that a black gay man will win a drama Emmy for playing a man with HIV). Essentially, television is taking a step in the right direction. Read More

The Gun Is Smoking, But Don't Count on It Being the Murder Weapon

Well, it turns out there was an even bigger fan and even more stuff to hit it. As you undoubtedly have heard, from the Washington Post: "A whistleblower complaint about President Trump made by an intelligence official centers on Ukraine, according to two people familiar with the matter, which has set off a struggle between Congress and the executive branch. The complaint involved communications with a foreign leader and a 'promise' that Trump made, which was so alarming that a U.S. intelligence official who had worked at the White House went to the inspector general of the intelligence community, two former U.S. officials said." William Jackson Harper Says The Good Place Is Going to 'A Place We Haven't Gone' in the Final Season

On the night of October 18, 2018, William Jackson Harper was staying away from social media. Though he usually likes to follow along on Twitter to see how people are reacting to episodes of his popular NBC sitcom The Good Place, he was terrified to see what the conversation was around Season Three Episode Four. That's because Harper's character Chidi spent most of this particular episode shirtless. Read More
