America is a great country because every foul-tempered has-been hack can grow up to be president. I cannot think of another Democrat more unsuited to the current political moment than Rahm Fcking Emanuel, whose only real political gift is alienating members of his party's political base. He is now recasting himself as the man with all the grown-up concerns. He's following the recent trail blazed by Gavin Newsom, except that, unlike Newsom, Emanuel isn't directly attacking a segment of the trans community.
