Earlier this week, again alone among Republicans. McConnell voted against handing the American intelligence community over to Tulsi Gabbard. Previously, he voted against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. I will grant you that McConnell cast all these votes full in the knowledge that none of his colleagues would join him and that he was never going to be the swing vote. But the fact remains that he was the only Republican to register his disapproval of turning over the nation's intelligence to a Kremlin apologist, handing the Department of Defense to a third-string Fox News host accused of drinking on the job, and, today, entrusting the nation's public health to an anti-vaccine loon whose kid said he beheads dead whales for fun. |

While Presidents' Day is generally a great time to save on everything from mattresses to menswear, it can be hard to discern which deals are worth shopping and which might be found at even steeper discounts later this year. That's why we always look to specific brands, and this year it's worth perusing Hoka's range of deep discounts on sneakers and activewear ahead of the long weekend, with savings of up to 50 percent already up for grabs. |
