At a recent Pentagon sermon—which is its own special kind of blasphemy—the Secretary of Talking About War couldn’t even Talk About the Bible without getting everything wrong.
There has to be a national policy—or a general societal consensus—that it is contrary to national interest that someone in obvious mental disorder can so easily get his hands on a firearm.
Frankly, I don’t know why any Republican member of the House with a functioning cerebral cortex doesn’t absent themselves to Borneo until the craziness blows over, assuming it ever does.
