It was a good weekend for establishing what people are, so we could simply haggle over the price. There was absolutely nothing about themselves, or the government they purported to lead, that the previous First Family* would not put up for sale. The big payoff is now coming, courtesy of HRH Prince Bone Saw of Saudi Arabia.
Make one yours—or nab one as a gift—for less than $20. Take a hint, and finally take it home. Tens of thousands of people converged on the holy grounds of Augusta National this past weekend, all with one name on their lips: Tiger. If you somehow haven't heard the news, Tiger Woods has once again done something that borders on parable. This time, a little over a year after a car crash almost took his life and nearly one of his limbs, the man Rocky Balboa-ed himself to Augusta National to play the Masters Tournament, site of the golfer's former and present greatness. Not only that, but Woods made the cut while suffering from very-much-visible pain, allowing him to play into the weekend. To watch Woods compete means to bear witness to something you can't be sure will ever happen again.
Frame, BOSS, Calvin Klein, AG, and more—all up to 50% off. Whether you want to understand or escape the current moment, our favorite releases of the year have you covered. Scott Pelley has covered conflicts across the world for decades. But in all that time as a correspondent and anchor at CBS News and 60 Minutes, he says, he has "never seen such wholesale destruction of civilian neighborhoods" as he's seen from the Russian armed forces in Ukraine. His assessment is unequivocal: "It could only have been done to kill the people." Talking to residents in the towns of Bucha and Irpin this week, he was told that in one case, a helicopter gunship fired rockets at a 10-story residential building until it collapsed and left "a burned-out shell." He encountered a mass grave behind an orthodox church, the bodies of women and men left unburied amid the rapid Russian retreat.
