This is not a controversial statement. Often, those reluctant to use the word "lie"—in the media and elsewhere—will say that to call something a lie, you have to know what's in a person's heart. You have to know they knew the truth, but instead intended to deceive, when they offered up a false statement. (The Washington Post, for instance, has compiled a list of more than 5,000 Trumpian "false claims" while in office.) But even under that strict definition, Donald J.
