An Appreciation of Indiana Jones: The World's Most Stylish Archeologist

Few characters in cinematic history have as iconic a look as Indiana Jones. The fedora, the leather jacket, the khaki trousers, the work boots. On the surface it's nothing too out of the ordinary. But put together it's become the a signifier for adventure, roguish wit, and indelible charm. Now while this may be the look of the series, it's important to note that Indy was no slouch in other important avenues of men's style. Whether teaching a class, infiltrating a Chinese crime syndicate, or strolling the cobblestones of Venice, Indiana Jones knew how to put together a look. You don't get to be a tenured professor at Marshall College simply by melting Nazi faces after all. And if you need proof, simply pop on over to Netflix and peruse the entire Indiana Jones cinematic canon, which is now available to stream. Or, if you prefer, take a spin through our own favorite moments in Dr. Jones' jones-worthy (pun intended) style. Read More

This Week's Biggest Sneaker Releases, and Where to Get Them

The past few years have forced sneaker design into a series of smaller boxes as brands chase a short list of trends, echoing off of one another until most of the weekly releases start looking alike. But every now and then we get a respite, and this week is one of them. Even picking out just 10 releases for the week offers a great range of aesthetics and styles. Check 'em out. Jon Bernthal Just Changed My Mind About Black Dress Shirts

I thought it couldn't be done. After years of witnessing the worst bros, outside the worst places to go on weekends, arguing with bouncers and girlfriends and other bros of their kind while wearing some sort of untucked black button-down, I put that kind of shirt on my Nope List. And then Jon Bernthal showed up Thursday outside of Jimmy Kimmel Live in one. And it was styled perfectly. And he changed my mind. The BDS funeral will have to be put on hold—with a few caveats. Dogfish Head Figured Out How to Brew a Low-Cal IPA That Doesn't Taste Like Seltzer Water

Dogfish Head made an IPA that is as low-cal and low-carb as a Michelob Ultra. Dubbed Slightly Mighty, the beer is the result of a year-and-a-half of molecular research and a push by Dogfish Head's founder and president Sam Calagione to be healthy-ish. However unlikely it may seem, it is a legitimate IPA both geeks and average folks will dig. Read More

The Leather Jacket for Style Rebels, British Rockers—and You

The Schott classic racer jacket strips down the style with a single-breasted zipper and stand collar. It's a sleek, streamlined version, with all the same attitude that makes a statement—but without trying too hard. The price tag hits that sweet spot in between fast-fashion iterations (basically disposable) and super high-end designer versions (basically non-functional). It's the kind of investment that, with proper care, will last you a lifetime. The leather will form to your body, and, much like a pair of great jeans, will imbue a character that will be uniquely yours over time. This wardrobe staple will only improve with wear and age—just as its wearer should. Read More

I'll Be Hibernating Under This Cozy-Ass Comforter Until May

If you haven't seen their ads, you probably will because you're reading this post. (Sorry.) Buffy's another entry in the oeuvre of direct-to-consumer products you already own, repackaged with youthful typefaces and aesthetically pleasing pastels in their marketing. And while said marketing practices might give you reason to be skeptical (do I really need a toothbrush subscription?), what separates Buffy from the rest of the pack is that their comforter is really damn good.
